Art Apprenticeship Plan

For my art apprenticeship i will teach how to make a plan out of paper origami Origami from ori meaning “folding”, and kami meaning “paper” is the traditional japanese folk art of paper folding, which started in the 17th century AD and was popularized in the mid-1900s. It has since then evolved into a modern art form. The goal of this art is to transform a flat sheet of material into a finished sculpture through folding and sculpting techniques, and as such the use of cuts or glue are not considered to be origami.

My session will take 30 minutes which will consist of : Introduction to origami (5 minutes) Teaching the folds of the plan (5 minutes) making their own plan (5 minutes) decorating their own plan (5 minutes) show and tell (5 minutes) cleaning  up (5 minutes)

What i will need for this session (session of four people) :

8 sheets of paper (2 per person just incase of mistake)

colouring  pens (for decorations)
